Meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month at Bicton Village Hall, starting at 2.30pm excepting May, which starts at 11.00am.

  • March 20 - 12.00pm, AGM followed by picnic lunch.

    Members' slides of memorable gardens recently visited, followed by our Christmas Tea Party.

Garden Visits

Note that the June and August visits are on the third Satuday; the July visit is on the second Saturday. Maps will be circulated with the AGM papers in late February, for another copy please phone the secretary.

  • June 19 - Coach outing to Aberglasney Gardens and/or National Botanical Gardens of Wales. Details to follow. Both gardens are suitable for wheelchairs or scooters.
  • July 10
    • 11am - Preen Manor, Church Preen, 6 miles west of Much Wenlock. Entrance £5. Mrs Ann Trevor-Jones, coffee and biscuits available, bring a picnic.
    • 2.30pm - Jessamine Cottage, Kenley, 6 miles west of Much Wenlock, entrance £2.50. Lee & Pamela Wheeler, tea and cakes available.
    • Optional visit to Lower Springs Nursery close by.
  • Aug 21
    • 12.00pm - Longacres, Kinnerley, near Nesscliffe/Oswestry. Entrance £2.50. Mick & Linda Evans, tea and cakes available, bring a picnic.
    • 3.00 pm - Hall Farm Nursery, Kinnerley. Conducted tour by Christine Ffoulkes-Jones. No tea.
